Medical examinations of driving school entrants, regular and out-of-ordinary oversight of driver’s ability to drive, foreign driving license exchange

INITIAL EXAMINATION

  • initial examination of amateur drivers encompasses psychological testing, eyesight testing and examination by an Occupational Health specialist
  • initial examination of professional drivers encompasses laboratory workup, psychological testing, eyesight testing, hearing ability testing, ECG recordings and examination by an Occupational Health specialist (the candidate should be on an empty stomach)

On the scheduled date, you have to present with: 

  • ID card, 
  • Medical Certificate issued by your GP/FMP, stating your overall and current health status. The Certificate can be brought personally or e-mailed to:  sestra@preventa-medic.hr
  • medical records on any chronic or major condition you have been diagnosed with, if that is the case
  • glasses or contact lenses in case you use them 

EXTENSION OF DRIVING LICENSE VALIDITY

  • medical examination of amateur drivers encompasses psychological testing, eyesight testing and examination by an Occupational Health specialist
  • medical examination of professional drivers encompasses laboratory workup, psychological testing, eyesight testing, hearing ability testing, ECG recordings and examination by an Occupational Health specialist (the candidate should be on an empty stomach)

OUT-OF-ORDINARY OVERSIGHT OF DRIVER’S ABILITY TO DRIVE

Out-of-ordinary oversight of both amateur and professional driver’s ability to drive includes laboratory workup, psychological testing, eyesight testing, hearing ability testing, ECG recordings, examination of a Neuropsychiatrist (upon indication), and examination by an Occupational Health specialist (the candidate should be on an empty stomach).

On the scheduled date, you have to present with: 

  • ID card, 
  • Medical Certificate issued by your GP/FMP, stating your overall and current health status. The Certificate can be brought personally or e-mailed to:  sestra@preventa-medic.hr
  • driving license
  • the document issued by the competent police authorities stating the reason for an out-of-ordinary oversight
  • medical records on any chronic or major condition you have been diagnosed with, if that is the case
  • glasses or contact lenses in case you use them 

FOREIGN DRIVING LICENSE EXCHANGE
